Cliffs of Moher and O'Briens Tower

Description

Edge of the Burren in County Clare stands the Cliffs of Moher. 14 kilometers of pathways across both sides of the cliffs. Right side holds the O'Briens Tower. On a clear day, which is somewhat rare at the Cliffs, you can view the Aran islands, Galway Bay, and the Maum Turk mountains of Connemara. Looking south, you can see the Dingle Peninsula and the Blasket Islands in Kerry. These are pasture farm lands and there are electric fences that line the cliffs to keep cattle from getting too close to the edge. The cliffs are unstable and visitors are warned not to sit or stand at the cliff edge as they may loosen the earth and fall to the sea.
